Fan Mail - Greetings to the Bothell Cougs 2009
|
To the 2009 Bothell Cougars, I would like to say THANK YOU for
a wonderful season. You may never know how proud of you we
(parents, family, friends, community) are of you. We are!! You are
something else. Life doesn't always give us what we want or think we
deserve. However, as you have heard, what you give, what you
commit, what you share, and what you have learned will make you
successful way beyond what a scoreboard will ever reflect. Thank
you for being the team that you are and for being the young men you
are and will be. GO COUGS forever... a loving fan who is going to
miss having a player on the BHS Cougar team.... Brenda O'Leary |

Hey there Cougs--I just wanted to take a minute to let you
know how much the Bainters appreciate the 09 Cougars! This season
has been such a pleasure in our home. Your relentless work ethic,
great job in the classroom and on the field and especially your
continued behavior off the fied has helped with the stress level in
our home. When Coach is happy the boys and I are happy. It is great
to see a smile on his face when he walks through the door at night
instead of worry! So for that, we are thankful. Happy Thanksgiving
and Get That Bone! Kristina, Owen and Erik |

Here is a shout out for Brendan McComber #27 from your Uncle
Joe and your Tillamook, Oregon family - Kami, Kirstin and Kari Jo.
Thanks so much for asking me to be a part of your special nite
against Roosevelt. I am truly honored and humbled by being
asked to participate. What a fun nite for Brendan, first Varsity
pass reception and a touchdown!! What a memory. Brendan is now known
by his Uncle Joe as "TD BMc". I will be faithfully wearing my newly
acquired Bothell Football cap during your playoff run. Good luck to
you Brendan and all your teamates. Go Cougs! Joe Jensen |

What a great opportunity to show the
entire state what the Bothell Cougars are made of. The number one
rated team in the state verses the number two rated team in a
championship game, you cannot ask for a better match up and it is
games like this that few ever have the opportunity to take part in.
You will remember this game for the rest of your lives every play
you take part in will be burned into your memory so make every play
count and know that you have the entire city of Bothell cheering you
on in this championship bid. GO COUGS! Mr. Brandt |

Keep up the good work!! When I last
put on a Cougar uniform it was 1957, we were in to the 5th game of
the season, we were undefeated and unscored upon.
Unfortunately, for whatever reason we let the lowly Issaquah team
(last place), sneak onto Pop Keeney and give us our only loss of the
season. Don't let up and be careful of what our coach at the
time, Cot Rice, called the "rinky dinks". Good luck the rest of the season, Roger Anderson |

This is my sixth and final year as a Bothell Cougar football
parent. I just wanted to say how proud I am of the team, the
coaches, the staff, the volunteers, and the fans. The team has
worked harder and harder each year and your dedication to each other
and the game is reflected in your successes both on and off the
field. Your determination is an inspiration to me, your friends,
family, the community and beyond Bothell. I hope that you - the
2009 Bothell Football Team - is enjoying your last season as high
school players. You have given so much. You are the best. Here's
to you tonight and throughout the remainder of the season!! GO
COUGS. A Cougar forever, #75's mom, Brenda |
