I hope all
you players realize the impact you have not only in each other's
lives as teammates, but in the Bothell community. Whether
you're a starter or on the sidelines, YOU are collectively AND
individually valued, admired, and embraced in more ways than you
probably realize. That
special, God given drive which comes from somewhere deep within, to
become a strong, committed, and competitive person, who sets aside
self reliance to form a brotherhood, is undoubtedly the same drive
that motivates the men of our Armed Forces. The words from the
"Boys of Fall" song by Kenny Chesney below says it all. "It's I got
your number, I got your back when your back's against the wall. You
mess with one man, you got us all." It is a
admirable and fine quality to hone and take with you your whole
life, long after high school is over. So, you
have fought a couple hard "battles" already, and will have more in
the weeks ahead, but keep your head up when the chips are down, stay
focused, committed,
have each other's backs, never quit, and always remember whether you
hear the cheers and whistles in the crowd or not, you are loved and
appreciated. Thanks for
the Friday Night Lights and may God Bless you, our boys of Fall! THE BOYS
OF FALL "When I
feel that chill, smell that fresh cut grass The boys of fall In little towns like mine that's all they gotNewspaper clippings fill the coffee shops The old men will always think they know it all Young girls will dream about the boys of fall" - Deb Hoyle |

I am so proud of all of you. Having known
you since you were young, having you in my classes, watching you try
your hand at Video Productions, and working hard in PE, I can
honestly say that it is an honor to be associated with this team. Pride in your selfs, Pride in your
family, Pride in your School, Pride in your Team, and Pride in your
Community. These are traits that others may never achieve, yet, you
teach it and demonstrate it on and off the field every day. You have
worked harder to be here than any other team in the State. You have
shown a level of Dedication that is truly admirable. You are Family! This is your moment, this is your time.
You were born to be Bothell Cougars. We ARE Bothell! YOU ARE BOTHELL! Books and songs will be written, stories
will be told, about what you are going to accomplish this year. Pain heals, but Glory lasts forever. Now, let the other team know that they
are facing THE BLUE TRAIN! Go Get'em!! - John Roper |

As a former Cougar Football player I want to tell you how
fortunate you are. I have been graduated for 5 years now and still
to this day I have people tell me they wish they could have been a
Bothell Cougar. You have an amazing coaching staff behind you as
well as the most unbelievable school rooting you on. Enjoy every
minute of your time at Bothell because I promise you it will go by
faster then you want it to. Good luck men, you guys are part of a
very long tradition and proud family of Bothell Cougar Football. Nick Jones Class of 2005 |
