Patrick Ottorbech , Bothell football

Ottorbech, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound junior running back, helped lead the Cougars to a 42-14 rout of defending state champion Oak Harbor in the Class 4A state quarterfinals. In the first half, he rushed for a career-high 137 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries as Bothell jumped to a 28-7 lead. His TD runs covered 15, 10 and 36 yards.

Lindsay Elston , Eastlake girls soccer

Elston, a sophomore midfielder, had the winning shootout goals against Richland in the semifinals and Beamer in the championship game as the undefeated Wolves (19-0) captured the 4A state title. She also scored the tying goal in the 73rd minute against Richland and assisted Emma Levy on the tying goal against Beamer.

Issaquah girls soccer team

The unbeaten Eagles, coached by Tom Bunnell, repeated as 3A state champions with a 1-0 victory over Seattle Prep. Kate Deines scored the winning goal in the 71st minute. Issaquah (19-0-1), which hasn't lost since 2005, has been to the last four state-title games and won three.
