Open Weight Room Training – The weight room is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (Wednesday's only when their is a 4-day school week)
      ·       January until Spring Football- Morning lift at 5:45-7:10 AM
      *      Summer Open Weight Room - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 8am-10am BHS Weight Room

Why is weight training so important? & Cost
Football is a very demanding sport. Although lifting and running in the off season will not guarantee you will not be injured during the season research shows that the stronger you are the more your body can protect your joints, ligaments, etc. from injury. And...more even more important your player gets to spend time with their teammates, encouraging each other to work hard for a common goal.
Cost: $250 per player ($200 to school for Weight Program & $50 for Protein Program paid to Booster Club)

Spring Football, what is this?
WIAA allows a limited number of days teams can use after all spring sports state competitions have finished until August 1st. This training period allows the team time to prep on the field for the summer team camps they attend, participate in 7 on 7 tournaments, etc.  The Spring Schedule will be listed on the website home page when we get closer to that time of year but begins after all spring sports are finished.

Eligibility Packets
NSD uses Final Forms an online eligibility enrollment program. You will receive information on enrollment in the spring. All players must be cleared before they can participate.

Summer Team Camp?  Where and When is it?
Gridiron Camp is held at Evergreen State College and it will be in late June just after school is out. Dates when available and Gridiron Camp link will be added to webpage when registration and payment details are finalized. We hope that your player will attend camp, but it is not required to participate in football. Cost will be finalized closer to camp but plan on approx. $325-$350 per player to attend.

Spring Parent Meeting
In Early May Coach Bainter will host a parent information meeting at BHS. Please watch the website for the most important and current information about Bothell Football.

Player Gear - Spirit Packs
Online orders will be placed following the May parent meeting to order a team sweatshirt, t-shirt, shorts, etc. This will be a onetime order and this gear is intended for players and coaches only. (Parents can purchase gear when the season begins from our merchandise stand). This information and order forms will be available online in mid-May and close early June.

Picture Day
Saturday, August 22 will be team picture day. The morning pictures will be followed by practice. There will be no makeup day for individual pictures.

Pay to Play Fee
This fee is paid to Bothell High School ASB after August 19 and before the first game. If you have financial concerns in paying this fee you should contact the athletic director at BHS, Yonni Mills at ymills@nsd.org.
