New Player Information

2012:  Off Season Preparation – January thru June

Booster Spring Auction

2012 Auction is May 5th at a new location this year: the Lynnwood Convention Center. See Auction Link and FAQ’s for more information on what participation is expected from each family in the program and how your family can help ensure our biggest fundraiser of the year is a successful one.

Open Weight Room Training – The weight room is open Monday – Thursday.

All players should be in the weight room during the offseason at one of these times. If you are participating in an afterschool sport you should come in the morning.

Due to high numbers or players 8th graders not participating in afterschool sports at their Jr. Highs are encouraged to attend the afternoon session. Freshman Team, Coach Hoke will run the afternoon session and Coach Christenson, our team strength and condition coach will be at the afternoon session 2 days a week to assist and make sure players are using proper technique, etc.

Why is weight training so important?

Football is a very demanding sport. Although lifting and running in the off season will not guarantee you will not be injured during the season research shows that the stronger you are the more your body can protect your joints, ligaments, etc. from injury. Also, you get to spend time together off the field with your teammates, encouraging each other to work hard for a common goal.

Spring Football, what is this?

Spring football is the training period after all spring sports state competitions have finished. This training period allows the team time to prep on the field for the summer team camps they attend.  2012 Spring Football will begin on May 29th a complete schedule will be posted on the calendar page of the website when it becomes available.

Summer Team Camp?  Where and When is it?

Team will attend a summer camp but when and where is not available at this time.

Insurance & Cost of Camp

All Team Camps require all players attending to have medical insurance, if needed you can purchase through the school. Cost of Camp is approx. $300 per player.

NOTE: There are no scholarships available to this camp from the Football Club. But we will offer a fundraiser (coffee sales) for those that would like to participate in raising funds for the summer camp. More information to come later this spring.
