River Fest

On behalf of the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce I'd like to thank the football players that volunteered at this year’s RiverFest celebration on August 28th. Many of the craft vendors and local merchants commented on how wonderful their help was in the set up, breakdown and overall organization of the event. We hope the players are acknowledged for their community service and how they represented Bothell High to the community. If this worked well for you, then we would love to have them participate each year.

As part of our follow up on RiverFest, we asked the participants what they liked best about the event. See below some of the comments we received about the players.
"Having the students set up the tents and expedite loading and unloading was INSPIRED. Thank you!" "We LOVED that the football players helped. We have heavy equipment to load/unload and they helped make it go fast and with such great attitudes. Thanks, guys!" "I so appreciate the spirit of helpfulness that everyone participating had. I needed a hand setting up and taking down my tent, and boy did I ever get help! Were the BHS football guys official event volunteers?"

Did you see a Bothell football player doing the right thing...let us know. People are always quick to notify of the bad, but if a player you know is volunteering, helping out, being a blessing. Let us know. Coach always talks about doing the right thing. Lets show some appreciation for those who do!
